another blockguard question...
I was installing my block guard last night... didi alot of grinding it down... a couple times i tapped it pretty far down but more clearance was needed... the guard was kind of hard to get out... what are you suppose to do if you cant get it out... i want to know in case it goes 3/4 of the way in and i couldnt get it out... could you just pound it in and bore and hone the block... ??

Re: another blockguard question... (fullracegsr)
it's not designed to slide in and out. it is designed to fit tightly around the sleeves. Don't be afraid to tap it in, it's gonna take a little force (not excessive) with the hammer. I've never had to grind a blockguard, and i've installed several. if you grind away enough material to make it loose enough to slip in and out then the blockguard won't work correctly. If you really need to get it out though, you'll have to install screws in the blockguard and pry it out.

Re: another blockguard question... (fullracegsr)
use a piece of wood, like a small 2x4 or something and set it on the blockguard and then hit the wood with the hammer...it should take some of the metal to metal shock out of it from just hitting the BG strait on...or use a rubber mallet
but yeah it shouldnt just slide in...should be firm in place
