True..but when your new too boost, and not used to it. Looking at a boost guage when you should be keeping your eyes on the road is dangerous. Can you imagine how fast and how much boost he was hitting when he pushed it for the first time? But he should have been safe and boosted in 3rd gear for the first time..and had a friend keep an eye on the guage for him.

Same freaking thing happened to my buddy with a F-Max kit. Didnt overboost, but after an hour it started smoking. Replace headgasket did nothing. Took apart block and found every piston cracked to hell. Of course he know has a full build that just started the other day for the first time since.

How did he not notice that the pistons were cracked when he did his headgasket?
