almost $6000.... ???
You guys are forgetting the most important & expensive factor. . . . Upkeep
Its a boosted car ***** going to break and you are going to have to fix it, If you think your going to have trouble affording the build then you're going to have trouble maintaining it.

Maybe 2 years down the road. If you get a good tune and upkeep on the MAINTENANCE.
I wouldn't be surprised if anything needs replacing 2-3yrs down the road. And by then, the car will prolly be sold. Honestly, if i had a good shell for 5-8 years. I rather throw 3-5k to rebuild the motor to 0 miles than to spend 20-30k on a new car... Unless you want a new body style or make car.

yup...boosting is expensive..i'm in the same boat you are...planning and budgeting...i suggest you plan things out and buy things slowly...i made a list of things and split them into categories...i'm purchasing parts little by little till i have everything to complete my build...this does two things...first, it allows you to spend money little by little instead of all at once, which can make things lighter on your pockets...also, it gives you time to think your project through and buy the right parts at a decent price..since your not buying everything right away, you have time to shop around and find deals...good luck

do you really need these named brand stuff? Get piping customized and you can ****** a 300$ intercooler.

You can save money on the intercooler kit by buying a precision intercooler & having the charge piping fabbed up.
Concerning the injectors, you can find precision injectors for $100 cheaper.

Maybe I missed it, but what is your engine build? Your gonna run a gt35r at least 18psi.
Rods, Piston, head work? Tuning and dyno time are going to be a continual money factor.
What about the rest of the car? Suspension, brakes, roll bar/cage?
Plan on at least 1.5 to 2x the cost you think it's going to be. Turbo projects always seem to come out that way.

Your 1st mistake!!
Adding the stuff up, just go with the flow! if you keep track of the total cost you will never do it, just buy stuff as money comes in and by the time you know it you have it all. and you never really think of spending 6k at once!!
Thats what i do, i buy stuff and never look back or at the prices!! Noone ever said turbo was cheap, so you can get over that right now!! Gotta PAY too PLAY!

unless this is a race only car you don't need 600whp. That is so much UN-useable power on the street its rediculous. I have raped everyone at the street races with 300whp in a turbo hatch all night. I never turned by boost past 10 psi cause people couldn't keep up.
The list is so expensive because your daydreaming. You need to set some realistic goals build the car to those goals.
U need also to find out the wonderful world of used parts. I would never pay $600-900 for an exhaust when I could buy some piping and a muff from summittjcwhitney and find a buddy or someone to weld.
Summit sells piping for intercools or anything. I got my intercooler piping for $70 from summit, and had a buddy weld it for free.
