Default afr 12,5

hello, i have seen that many af you guys are running pretty rich. Like 11,5
i am starting to tune my car by my self and planing to go with 12,5 from 5100rpm to 7500 then i go up to 11,8-12,0 in afr
is that dangerous?

my setup is

b16a1
itr cams
CP pistons and Eagle rods
ported cylinder head
ugr manifold
big intercooler and 2,5" charge piping
Garrett t04e/t3 stage 3 turbine wheel 57 trim
3" downpipe

here in Sweden we have 98 octane

It depends on your power level. I wouldn't run 11.8:1 AFR on a 230 WHP turbo setup, but hell yeah I'd stay below 12.0:1 if I was at 500 WHP or more.

i wouldn't plan it as to what rpm but where in boost u'll be in. at vac/boost crossover u can go 12.5 and gradually go from there throughout the boost section

98 octane in Sweden is like 93 in USA so watch out.

that weird,
now i am boosting 15psi and it is tuned with a chip and a apexi vafc, don't know why.
i am gonna sell the apexi and go with BRE. i will probably not boost more than 18psi and make about 350whp

Because in USA is RON and at Europe ROZ or viceversa.

We in Germany have 100 octane and is like 95 in USA.

Ditto, all because of different units of measurement
