Default Afc and btm help.

Hey guys, need some advice. Im stuck on tuning, im currently running the hack with the base timing retarded to 12 degrees and its been fine but i want to turn the boost up now i have pistons and rods all in.
Basically im obd0 so getting the stuff to swap to obd1 here in the uk is pretty hard and very expensive by the time shipping duty and vat has been added on any thing from the US.
So i already have the hack and should be able to pick up am MSD btm pretty cheap, is this going to make it safer? Ive been looking at the one to use with stock ignitions and thinking they might be the answer to my problem.
I have wide band and know some one with some det cans so i can check for deternation and sort fuelling as i street tune.

I had the VAFC and BTM setup for a while, I can tell you that the ITR ECU did not like the BTM at all! If I adjusted any more than about .5 degree retard, the car would sputter and backfire at higher rpm, so I ended up just leaving the BTM set at 0. Thankfully I was able to afford upgrading to the Hondata system. I still have the BTM hooked up just for the cap discharge spark feature, I unplugged the dial.

i got the MSB BTM and the hack

YES it is ALOT safer

without the BTM, my car runs like **** on the hack, i got it about 0.6retard/psi and runs great
anymore than that, and i loose power.

I have a Turboedit chipped PM6 OBD-0 ecu I will sell you, and it will blow the hack/btm setup out of the water.

you're still not correcting the excessive timing advance of the hack. don't waste your $$ on the BTM.

Especially with the fact that most BTMs can only be adjusted up to 6K.. At the most.. I wouldn't deal with it.
