Default aem problem, need the gurus

need this problem solved asap, car is leaving tomorrow at 2.

(jdm h22a, obd1, 903cc to 450cc injector swap, aem ems using V1.03 becasue my ecu won't run V1.11 for whatever reason)

i was running 903cc injectors, had a base map all made up, it idled fine, reved fie etc just ran rich as hell (10.6/1 afr). well i decided to swap ou tthe injectors for a more resonable 450cc dsm injectors because i'm not built and there is no reason for me to run that big of an injector..reasons go on.

so i install the 450s change my base map to the dsm 450s and it won't fire..... finally fouled out the plugs, i changed them switched the map to the V1.03 440cc prelude map switch only the battery offset to the dsm 450s and it'll fire run like as for a second if even that, if you touch the gas pedal at all it dies, i messed with the fuel pressure with no luck, and now i'm stuck... why the hell would it run fine on 903s but not even hold an idle on 450s?

do you have a wideband on it??

you need to have the car tuned. base maps are meant to be a starting point to TUNE the car. not drive the car, not even run good, but have everything setup so you can start the tuning process.

i just need it to run to get onto the trailer, i got it to fire but now its reading like it has 2 o2 sensors and it says the afr is 8.5/1. I know it needs a tune but its should hold an idle on a base map.... it seemed liek once it warmed up somewhat it held the idle but was still running rich how can i fix my cold start so i don;t have to crank for a half hour to get this thing to start

i need more info.. is it rich, lean, neither??

if it fires but wont stay running, then you need to look to the fuel/ign maps, and the idle

try leaning out the crank time table 10%, and then start leaing out the fuel map a few % at a time.

Does the startup problem get better or worse when you press on the gas pedal some?

Your going to have to re-tune the car since the new injectors behave much differently than your old ones..

That would suggest that you dont have enough initial crank fuel then.. What were your air/fuel ratios when you were idleing?
