Default AEM EMS 1000cc Startup Issues

I am goin nuts over here.

I loaded the map for 440cc thats supplied with the ems
I changed the injectors to 1000cc and changed it with the map/psi
I changed my map to AEM 3.5

I am having trouble starting. It shoulds like its ready to start idling for a second then dies

The dam AEM Forum is not up and running when i need it now and i am pissed it probably has a map on there for 1000cc just so i can at least get it started

If anyone has any suggestions let me know

All i can tell u, and im not trying to be a smartass or anything but u need a Wide band. I'm sure everyone on here will tell u the same. You have an A/F mixture problem for sure.

I have the AEM wideband installed.
I changed the setting to AEM (Gauge type) in the o2 sensor wizard

What was your A/F at idle with the last injectors? You are going to want to richen the A/F mixture up and change your Idle% vs Target Table with the 1,000cc injectors.

I never started the car with 440's thats just the AEM base map i started with. I can try that i got to read more into changing the idle% vs target table though i havent messed with that fully. I see what you saying but cause that is probably still set to the 440's too. Is is similair to changing the values in the Fuel map -right click -change injectors/psi ?

I am very frustrated because i read the manual for a few days now and i have had the ems in my room waiting for injectors for 4-5 months and now that i am ready to go the AEM Forum is down. In no way am i lookign to tune the car 100% myself i would just like to get it started and running decent so i can give it a nice slow drive to the tuner. I figured the AEM FORUM would help me get my bugs out. So much for that

You change your Primary Injector Battery Offset. Then you change your injectors/pressure in the fuel map. The you need to add fuel at the idle portion of your fuel map. Once you get it to idle more than a second change your Idle% vs Target Table. Your probably going to get it to idle best from 12.5:1 - 13.5:1 with 1,000cc injectors.

I am in the same boat, never started my car, still piecing together the turbo kit, but I made the changes to my aem map and posted it on the aem forum and they said that what I did was correct and that it was all I could do without having a wideband and tuning the car. Shoot me your email and i'll send you the map I have it is for the 1040 box using the aem 3.5bar map and 1000cc rc injectors (actually I used 1100cc because my injectors flowed a bit more than the 1000cc's). If nothing else you can compare the map I have to your own.
