Default 9PSI on B18C1

I have a 2001 Acura Integra GSR. It has 73,xxx miles on the engine. I just got the Greddy 18G turbo kit w/ the Greddy Intercooler kit (the bigger one, cant remember which number it is half the time). I am going to be running RC 440cc injectors, a fuel pump, and a Hondata S200 w/ boost option to make it work. All I want to know is will my engine haveing the milage it does be safe to run 9-10psi on stock internals. Someone told me yes because I am runing the hondata system. Plus I am going to have someone program the fuel curve for the 9-10psi when I get it. Thanks for your help.

Tuning is one thing, but make sure the engine is in decent condition

a tune up might be in order, replace any worn parts.

thats not a ton of mileage but it depends on how the car was driven.

12psi? Really? My friend is going to tune the Hondata for me. He is good at doing that, I dont know how to tune it so he is going to teach me. Sweet, I might run a little more boost then. I am going to get it tuned after I put it on. And I might get a tune up just to be safe. Thanks everyone for your help.

im running stock GSR block with B16 head, my comp is 180 across. im running 9lbs right now untuned but im somewhat near 300whp and 220wtq, i just came back from the track and ran 13.3 @ 107, didnt have enuff runs to launch better so def room for improvement, im going to run 12lbs pretty soon w/ hondata S100B, so you should be just fine!!

i would like to ask the same question except with my civic si, i have 75k miles, wont have the hondata on for awhile gotta purchase the boost option but running off FMU and 4.5lbs waste gate spring with the tial on a drag3 kit, it sounds like everything is going to be ok? i just wonder for how long tho, is it likely to blow a headgasket withi this many miles on the motor and boosting? few poeple seem to have problem with that

I know him pretty well. He did my friend Tom's boosted SI and a couple GSR's around here. So I trust him. By the way, what is a missing link check valve and do I need it?
