92 octane gas -> 91 in CA
As some of us are finding out, all 92 octane gas is going to be 91 startign 1st August. Does anyone who know what we can do about this? i am running high ( 10:1) compression with turbo, and plan on boosting 15psi on the street, and with this change in octane, how would it affect me?
one solution i tot of was to mix 1/3 100 octane gas and then 2/3 91 octane. would this work in the long run? the nearest place that sells 100 octane is at San Jose, and i am in San Mateo. A shop in San Carlos sells it too, but only by barrel.
Will appreciate any comments..

i saw 91 at most gas stations.. this past weekend at least 3-4.. shell was the first one i saw 91 at.. but since i pump at chevron.. they still had 92.. lets hope it stays that way.. btw.. carry a bottle or two of octane booster..
Man, that's so ***. whoever thought of that idea needs to not be alive anymore. Hey lets take gas that already licks hairy ***** and make it even worse. YEAH, great idea.
then if you go across the country and on the other side of cali you get sunoco 94 super $1.72 a gallon. But i guess i cant complain i live right in the middle and we are known for oil so we should still keep our 93 going strong.
