4 bolt downpipe problem
i have a reg cast iron manifold and a t3-t4 with 4 bolt flange,called revhard to make me a dp and they said the block will have to be shaved 2 fit,and that it will hit everytime i shift or something...anyone have this problem?oh and its going on my 98 tg

I believe you could search out, or buy a 5 bolt housing, it should angle the turbo more away from the block.
Option 2: You could get a flange (the one that bolts the mani to head) and sandwhich it between your manifold and head. This will put the turbo farther out away from the block. Downside is you have to take out your mani studs and get longer ones.
Option 3: You can sell you manifold on ebay and buy an inline pro, or max-rev or have screename tinker219 on honda-tech make you one, downpipe too. Check out http://www.lovefab.com for his website. You can also buy a full-race manifold or hy-tech but these are high dollar. tinker219 makes a version of the hy-tech that is pretty good price.
