3AN or 4AN ... much of a differeence?

Default 3AN or 4AN ... much of a differeence?

hi, does everyone primarily run 3AN oil lines for the oil feed? does anyone run 4AN... would it hurt it if the 4 AN was used? the reson i ask is ... im looking at a oil sandwhich right now.. but it has 3/8 fittings and i cant seem to find a 3/8 3AN fitting.. but i found 3/8 4AN fittings... thanks!!

3AN or a 4AN with a restrictior, I run a 3AN with a restrictor, got the idea?

i run -3 on my car now but i have -4 lines for sle made and ready to run with earls fittens on them
i spoke to rod from prcision and he said he wanted people to run -4 lines on there turbo so u make the decision

i run a -3 line with a .055 restrictor.. works fine for me

i personally think -4 is to big. but thats just me. all the line kits on HT that are sold use 3an and 10an lines. not 4

theres no difference at all i've been using a 4 an for 2 years now. Theres no pressure difference at all.

there wouldnt be a pressure difference, but with the same pressure going through a bigger tube, more oil would be supplied into the turbo. hence my reason for a 3AN line. everyone on this board will have a diff opinion. 3 or 4 is up to you, i personally always have and always will use a -3AN
