I have never tried that. Next time I will. what exactly does that setting change? </TD></TR></TABLE>

Fuel cut value basically changes the first columns map scalar header. The lower the number the lower the pressure it will read. When you open a stock .bin the fuel cut value will read "24". Even on OEM map sensors I use a 14 fuel cut value. 2 bar's I use 9 and, 3 Bar's I use 7-8. I have had the best luck with these numbers (idle quality) for the most part.

Looking back at my best running 3 bar map I actualy did use a fuel cut value of 7. Maybe 8-9 will help.

How is this any different than manually changing the first 2 scalars under the misc tab? And this fuel cut value is only for changing the first 2 fuel columns? When should this value be selected? I know some things need to be done in a certain order to avoid problems. Thanks for the help...I really wish I could research this on the booberdata site

I always apply the fuel cut value before selecting the map sensor and before pushing apply to the "boost ign retard" and "fuel efficiency". Manually changing the scalar has never worked for me. It never seems to run correct(mostly idle).

thanks, thats what i was waiting to hear... i could never get manually changing map scalars to work for me either. i'll be the one tweaking the original posters car with the 2.5bar, i'm pretty confident it will just take some fiddling with.
thanks for the info
