You will have to wire it in but it looks to be pretty easy.

I tried to use a 2 bar on a customer car with uberdata and the car would randomly just go into limp mode. I put a 3 bar on it, and it never happened again. BTW, the 2 bar map sensor was in working order because it came off a car using the 2 bar.

Not all map sensors are created equal. The problem with the GM 3bar map in uberdata is because it doesn't have a linear voltage when it reads vacuum, meaning it idles funny and runs rich (or lean, can't remember, site is down).

Unless someone has used a partiular map sensor with uberdata before, I'd be careful with it.

my understanding is that the motorola 2.5bar map sensor is fully functional with versions 1.7 and 1.8.

im using a gm 3bar w/ uberdata. idle is not easy to tune out. it hunts a lot. decel value and tip in suck ***. i've tried a million things, yet to no avail.

i going back to stock 1bar once the new motor and big turbo go in this weekend. i have NEVER had a problem with the 1bar sensor

You mean the stock 1.75 BAR map??? The most you can see on the sock map sensor is 11.75 psig or .75 BAR.

So is the vac portion linear on the Moto 2.5 bar? I have had very little luck getting a 3 bar to run correctly so I would love to try an alternative.

Ya most people do. The weird thing is that I have 0 problems tuning the 1.75 bar and have done quite a few cars that run great.

For those of you having trouble w/ the 3Bar's in Uberdata, Are you using v1.7 or 1.8? And if so, Are you setting the Fuel cut value to 7-9 insted of the stock 24? I had trouble getting the 3bar to idle until I started adjusting the fuel cut value. Now that I have adjusted it the car idles perfectly.

I have first hand experience (except w/ the 3.5 BAR) that every MAP sensor (OE,2,2.5 and 3) works w/ UD. It just takes some fenagling

I ordered this map sensor a few days ago. Hopefully it all works out with Uber. I'll post back my results.

Yes, that is right. The stock MAP sensor will be fine for anything less than 11.75 lbs of boost.
