2001 gsr motor and dsm injectors will it fit?
ok heres the deal i have obd1 95 gsr motor and the dsm injectors fit no problem and the obd 1 injectors clips fit on the dsm injectors perfect. my friend is dropping in a 2001 gsr swap into his 93 civic and he is going to retain all the obd 2 equipment and engine harness since it all plugs up to the 92-95 civic. he is going turbo and wants to install the dsm 450 injectors but i have heard that the obd 2 injector clips will not fit over the dsm's is this true or not. does any one have any advice for me? thanx

well for starters you need a resistor box for either aplication. Usually people solder on new clips for their injectors.

already have resistor box. i just want to clarify if what i heard about obd 2 injector clips being different than obd1. will obd 2 clips not fit dsm injectors at all or can they be modified?

what kind of injector that does not use the resistor box? I've been told the saturated one don't need the resistor box.

He didn't ask anthing about a resistor box, just wanted to know if they wil fit

ok you guys must not be understanding what im asking. i know the dsm 450 injectors will fit into the intake manifold i have them in my 95. thats not what im asking. im asking if the obd 2 injector clips will fit and if they dont what do i have to do for clips.... do i need to cut them off and wire in obd 1 clips because i have those too... any help this is all about the injector clips not if they will fit into the motor itself. i will be using a intake manifold off a 95 gsr motor anyways.

you have to cut and wire in obd 1 clips the obd II clips are different pin design

great thats what i needed. and one last thing. the resistor box will be ok though i can wire in a resistor box on a 2001 gsr engine harness just like i did on a 95 gsr engine harness? i know i have heard it different for the 96 and up civic engine harness because of the one piece engine harness but since the 2001 gsr engine harness is just like a 92-95 civic and 94 and up design, wiring up a resistor box should be the same ordeal right?
