Default anyone with DIY dual Walbros???

After looking at the fullblown dual intank walbro kit, i've been thinking about trying to do this myself. i feel like $300 is a lot just for some cnc'd aluminum. has anyone modified the stock sending unit to accomadate two pumps? if so, care to share some pics?

I run an Intank and an Inline, just tee's right in under the car, and I run -8 for the inline to the rail. No need to run aftermarket filters, stock intank still pulls through the sock. I then used the stock feed as the return.

what did you use to go from the intank pump to the inline pump? if you used stainless line, did you weld a fitting on the sending unit?

I just used the stock metal feed out the pump hanger, and double clamped some push-lok hose on there, ran it under the car to the inline, used a pushlock -6 to M10x1.0 an adaptor into the 255 inline, then the M10x1.0 to -6 adaptor and then a -6 to -8 and -8 to the rail. Pretty simple, also ran 10 ga. to dual relays from the battery to fire the pumps. The return was not as simple, I just cut the stock feed under the car, double clamped some push-lik hose and ran it to the hanger and to a 90 and into a bung I had welded on top.

you can put the walbro in the tank. then up from after the fuel filter, install the inline pump between the filter and rail. kinda like this, but hes using a bosch 044 pump

Im at 620 going for 700 shortly..... 255HP in tank with bosch 044 inline under my feet up front.

Need to upgrade feed line to -8 though.. I think im about maxed on stock lines, and yes will be using the stock feed for return!!!

unless your running E85 you could have made 650 on that single 044 using gasoline. but anyways im using the bosch 040 intank and bosch 044 inline. but may just switch over to dual 044's it wont make to much of a difference its just easy acess.

T$ PT6176 SP with a .58 hotside... .70 AR Ported S cover

I was worried about spool, I shouldnt have been... My motor seriously ripped that expletiveer, the small housing held me back just a hair i think... TQ dropped above 7k (worse at higher boost) as if there was a restriction. THe housing just couldnt flow the 2.3 liters at 8500...

obviously depends on injectors, I wouldnt push them past 750whp though, if you got that kind of setup, dont skimp out on the pumps, buy an Aero or Bosch at that point. I maxed out my 1000's at 585whp on the dual pumps, but I was on E85. My friend made the same power on the same 1000's and just a single 255 intank and stock lines, same dyno same tuner.
