tonight i was trying to remove the PS pump...
I was able to remove some of the hardlines, but is it just me or is a big pain in the *** to be able to reach the pump near the firewall? damn motor is kinda in the way. I was able to remove the soft line but i wanna remove the entire pump.
The two hard lines...how do i remove those? there seems to be a TON of black metal as well as the intake mani that kinda block my way.
also, i have no a/c, but there is a huge hose that is connected to some sort of sensor that goes into the intake mani. how can i remove that too?
any tips?

i knew i should of listened to the manual...
the reservoir line goes back into the rack and pinion i believe then... some sort of node that connects 3 hard lines and 1 soft line. I removed it do the soft line and plugged it. anyhow, can i remove the entire node? or no...

If you trying to get to the rack from the top that is kind of impossible unless you take off your intake manifold. What you have to do is do it from the bottom of the car. You will have all the space you need down there.

just try to cap off the lines,
but the gear ratios are different in power steering racks and non-power steering racks, so if you remove the pump and use the same rack your steering will be harder than a normal civic that never had power steering.
