Default 10:5:1 compression!!

whats up Honda-Tech, im new to the site and new to the whole turbo thing, i have a LS block which is bord to 81.5, my plans are to go with 10:5:1 compression ratio pistons with stock rods, ARP rod bolts and a block guard. I was woundering if any 1 out there has had some good luck with that compression ratio, im not looking to make CRAZY power i will be happy with mid 300hp, and the reason im want to go with 10:5:1 is because i still want some power while im not in boost. Sorry if im asking a question that was posted already or asked hundreds of times before.
any info well be greatly appreciated, thanx

Why do you insist on posting threads and asking questions that have been covered over and over again?

I've got an idea for you. When you want to make a post to ask a question, DON'T. Chances are, with your knowledge/experience, if you have a question, it's more than likely been covered in a previous post (likely one made a LONG time ago).

Don't be a lazy b*tch and expect to be spoon fed information. Go do some research. Come back when you have some knowledge and can ask a semi-educated question.

*And before you get all defensive b/c I hurt your wittle feewings and start thinking this is a personal attack, just stop. It's not a personal attack....just go learn something before you ask vague, broad-sweeping questions that make it painfully obvious that you've done no (or almost no) real research.

Probably because we see this same **** day in and day out. New people asking the same dumb questions. Search a bit! Yes h-t is to help people but damn man. A lot would of already been answered. A stock ls can make 300 and it's not 10:5:1.

I would stick to 10:1 that's just me though. If you have a turbo use the damn thing. Have the boost make the power not the compression ratio.

your going to put higher comrpession pistons but when you have the engine apart your not going to install a 300 dollar set of rods ??? If yrou not going to replace the rods with the pistons then leave it completely stock , its just a waste of money IMO. stock LS will make 300
