sorry, but i have to disagree with you on this one and tell you it's the opposite

my own 09 setup was a dry setup (fueled trough ectune/GPO/injectors)
made 321whp bone stock swap 93 octane and very conservative

look at this setup cubish designed (also dry )
https://honda-tech.com/forums/all-motor-naturally-aspirated-44/all-motor-nitrous-gsr-dyno-2518463/

especially on a progressive setup i'd ALWAYS recommend dry!!!

my girl already picked up to not completely lift the throttle in daily driving and shift smooth

if you don't have enough power you can experience a rpm drop on a launch with slicks, then a heavier flywheel will help you to keep the slicks spinning. it just means your low on power tough. launching higher will cure that tough

*ARP headstuds
*Cometic HD HG
*Walbro 190lph/255lph
*Colder sparkplugs? ngk7bkre's
retard the ignition 4 degrees, run premium and it'll run forever

it'll run fine without the headstuds, headgasket, fuel pump tough. but those are good precautions to take.

check plugs for timing/fuel/equal distribution!!!

Ectune here!

S300, Neptune or Ectune are all good choices.
I felt most comfortable with Ectune.

all though your right since i have a friend running a 100 shot on a all stock y8 no arp headstuds need but i still feel head studs should be used some of these sohc heads like to lift even on low power situations i have seen it.

that's why i said it would probably do fine and live, but especially headstuds are good precautions to take on a d-serie

keep it safe ignition wise and the head won't lift that fast,
aggressive ignition + sohc head = lift

Whats up guys what you think about my setup

B20b block bone stock
Gsr head
Ctr cams with s2 gears
Skunk2 im with 68mm tb
Aem fr with fpr
Rc 310 injecters or 440cc have both
Rmf drag rep header to 2 1/2 piping with vibrant
Nx wet kit 100 shot
255 pump
Hondata s300 going to have 2 tunes 1 93octane all motor and another nitrous with q16 gas
How much power should i be making and is it a safe setup only using nitrous for money runs

setup seems solid, you should be able to get away with 93 on the 100shot tough if you just spray high in the rpms to keep torque low, high as in 6000+rpms.

for a "money runs car" i'd rock a cammed/bolton b16 anyday. underdog engine that can do easily 350whp nitrous bonestock.

Should be pretty nasty! I kinda miss my B20vtec and wish I would have had the chance to spray on it.

I've heard this mentioned a few times in this thread. Do you think the b16 is the best/toughest nitrous oem motor? why do you say this?

I'd think the larger displacement motors would not only benefit from making more power NA but also being able to take in more nitrous and as far as I can tell the b18c1 is just as strong as a b16 (block girdle, relatively beefy rods, sleeves are similar, etc)

would be interesting to hear more from any of the experienced guys who it seems like the B16 is such a good nitrous motor

low tq easier to get the car to hook at higher hp on street tires perfect r/s ratio again this is for a street car.

Many people are running stock motors on (what I thought was) quite a bit of spray. Is that because stock internals are cheap to replace, or because it doesn't make a huge difference between a well built N/A and stock N/A? I have a direct port kit with 75hp jets. I'm wondering if it's going to do someone else more good. My set-up is:

p+p b16 head (1mm o.s. intake and exhaust)
Bisi cams (custom ground for serious hp and rpm)
supertech valvetrain

b20 block (stock sleeves at 84.5mm)
12.5/1 c.r. pistons
eagle rods
king race bearings
gsr girdle

sc4 tranny
6puck ACT
8lb flywheel

Thanks

B20vtecs are kinda iffy under stress I have seen a few 12.5:1 with cracked sleeves especially 84.5 stock sleeves really comes down to the tune but I would say if you are going to spray on pump I would do 1 of 2 things sleeve the block or lower the cr
