Got a question for everyone.... im doing a built b16 with boost! i had a guy that was gonna tune it for me on a chipped po6 ecu dont have that luxury anymore and i dont feel like spending the money on s300!!! also heard that some ppl make more power without hondata! what kinda software is there that i could tune on myself with different basemaps and such or sa custyom tune?!?!? ive heard of chrome, uberdata but dont know where to get the software from and to get a chipped ecu! i know i can order one from rywire and chasebays with a basemap on it but i wanna b able to tune it myself! thanks for the help

That is your opinion! Fact is that Neptune, eCtune and yes even Crome will give you the same power for less money if tuned properly.

If your doing this yourself I would look into getting a complete tuning package from www.xenocron.com ether the Neptune demon or eCtune demon packages with the wideband O2 option, unless you plan to use the dyno wideband. then you won't need one. IMO having one permanently installed is a good option if you have the budget.

If you are on a budget, the best solution for the money is going to be to get a chipped/socketed ecu or have your ecu chipped/socketed if it is obd1 & chipable.

The next thing is going to be to pay an EXPERIENCED honda/acura tuner to tune the car for you.

This is not true. It all depends on who is tuning the car. Neptune works great for me, and unlike some other companies they have fantastic customer support. Neptune/Demon all the way.
