Hondata
sup you guys. my friend is going turbo with his honda and wants to use a fuel management unit. ( plans on boosting high and running high streetable horsepower. question is...his p28 ecu is chipped already and we heard that besides the s200 unit you also need your ecu chipped by hondata or something. does he have to get another stock ecu? and also how long does it take for dyno tuning on average?
oh yeah... his ecu is chipped for a naturally aspirated gsr motor that gives more fuel and redlines at 8500rpms i think.

Re: Hondata (ben@importparts.com)
so there's more to it than just having the set-up, buying the s200 w/ boost for $495, and tuning the hondata unit? how much extra money do i need to spend to get it working, most importantly.

Re: Hondata (jdm4show)
As long as you have a hondata chipped ECU, the Hondata, and a tuning session, you are good to go. If you plan on running high boost, you may look into getting a 3bar map sensor.
