Default S300 Tunning Problems

I had a base tune in my new s300 when I got it and it was great but I was trying to tune on it and I couldn't find the base tune that it was. All i could find was the new calibrations. So I louded a stock h22 w/ 450cc base tune and it wouldn't even idle. I had to try and work with it all day just to get it to run at all. So once you loud a base tune of any other kind and don't have the other one saved some how it's gone for good????? All I can do is use a new calibration and go from their?? I want my base tune back what can I do??? Please help!!!!

It should have a download calibration option, unless they removed that because of all of the problems in the past.

I think I tried something like that and I said not to and I had already loaded the other tune. Do that mean the one it came with is gone for good??

If you can't download it then get the base tune from whoever originally put it up there.

I'm trying... They haven't answered back yet. But I hope they have it and can give it to me.

If you didn't pull off the calibration and save it on your laptop prior to loading a new one into the ROM, then it's gone.

its not hard to tune on the s300, I find it quite fun actually...if you can't get it to idle make sure you know what: size injectors you have, what MAP sensor you have, your TPS is calibrated, and you have a wideband to accurately see your AFR and you have it correctly installed to your ECU say D10 ELD. And finally make sure once you know all these to check that it is correctly logged in your parameters. If you have any type of question someone has already asked it on the Hondata forum you just need to find it.... I went from 8 lbs of boost with 550cc injectors with a crome chip to 17lbs of boost on 1000cc injectors with a s300 in a weekend. Smanager is very user friendly you just have to introduce yourself to it and get to know it better
