Default eCtune gear based boost control

So im currently on Crome Pro, but im looking for over 650+whp this season and dont really trust Crome to tune the new setup. Ive pretty much decided on eCtune, i like the price and the features. My question right now is how well does the gear based bosst controller work? Ive never played with a gear dependent contoller and want to make it as easy as possible. I know the solenoid is pretty cheap and instal looks easy enough, but what about setting it up? Is it pretty accurate and how quickly does it act through eCtune. I know on Crome watching the logs its a little behind in showing the next gear change. Any info is appreciated.

Quick pic of the setup

Yes it works. I would suggest buying the proper pwm ecu hardware kit & solenoid kit for your ecu to use the eCtune.

I can vouch for eCtune... its great. As far as the boost by gear... xenocron has a pretty good write up on his website...

It works like it should. Just like Hondata & Neptune's boost by gear.
