Default B18 swap 00 civic help

I recently bought a b18b1 from a 99 teg (obd2a) and am planning to put it in my 00 civic ex coupe (obd2b) and im not sure what to use regarding the harness and ecu i've heard keeping the d16 harness and using the p75 from the teg should work but there seems to be mixed Opinions. And if i do this will i need something to convert from obd2a to obd2b? All help is appreciated thanks

You must go obd1 if you plan to tune

Only way to tune Hondas on obd2 are k-series motors

Yes, an OBD-1 P75 ECU with a tuning solution and a OBD-2B -> OBD-1 conversion harness makes it plug and play at the ECU end. You use the engine harness from the '00 EX coupe and modify it to fit the engine... changing clips/connectors and shortening/lengthening wiring as necessary.
