Get an OBD2 P30 ecu or get an OBD2-OBD1 jumper harness and find yourself a more readily available OBD1 P30 ecu.

The P2T ecu will not work on your stock harness, nor your interior harness.

I had the same problem and just went OB2-OBD1 and ran a P30 ecu.

Im using a p2t ecu on my lsvtec with stock harness on my 98 civic ex. I rewired it a little bit and everything works fine.
