ACT maxx xtreme clutch with 4 puck disc.
Is this a good clutch for a 400 wheel hp Integra.
70% strip(slicks) and 30% street
A guy I know is letting it go for $240.00 brand new.
I am worried it may be a little harsh on the street.
Thanks,

Thanks,
that clutch will trash all of your drivetrain parts. buy a twin disk.....it will save you money in the long run. the single disk clutches just grab too hard and shock the drivetrain too much causing everything to break. and they drive like crap.

Last time I checked the Exedy twins were selling for around 1300 and that was with a flywheel. Everyone Ive talked to says the same thing though "invest in the twin disc" Just save your money and get a twin if at all possible.
i broke 2 axles last year on the street with the maxx extreme. prior to that i never broke an axle. i now have the exedy twin. much smoother. and you can get em for less than 1300 shipped.
Since it comes with the flywheel I guess that isnt that bad.
Man I only paid 300 bux for a good clutch for my mustang.
Thanks for the help guys it looks like yall saved me some broken parts.
