85 Civic Wagon 5 speed!!!!
I dont really get on this site much but I have looked through many of the classic honda threads
So heres my toy, hope you like it!
(I've spent a lot of time putting this into carolinahondas so i figured I would just copy/paste)
Car: 1983 Honda Civic Wagon 5 Speed
Mileage: 309,000
Engine: 1.5 L EM CVCC I4
I'm not very much of a show off but i figured I would show everyone my unique ride I picked up yesterday (10/31/09). I got this thing from a guy out in Hampton Virginia and drove it all the way back to Raleigh. Let me tell you, I was very surprised that I made it back. Only problems the car is having is it idles high sometimes around 3k and if you go over 70 mph it gets a little hot. Don't know if i really care to fix these things b/c i figured a swap would be nice . . . but difficult.
Only body damage is that the rear hatch is dented in and theres some tiny rust spots here and there.
Major things I want to do to this car right now is slam it on its *****, paint the hood and bumpers, clean up all the trim, and clean the interior.
Special thanks to Watisjdm for finding this car and rideing out to pick it up.
Please feel free to suggest some mods i should make to the car and if you find any links for aftermarket parts or parts in general just post em up.
And when I say sleepywagon I mean she's tired.
Here she is, her name is Vanessa
Update 11/6/09
-painted the bumpers and a teaser of the fat fives
Robby let me rep the drags before he sold them haha
Hate if you want, but i love it....just a sneak peak at whats to come
******UPDATE 9/15/10 New motor in, raised the rear 2 inches and lowered front 1 inch, so about 1 inch drop all around lol*****
-Still looking for pics with original motor but heres one with the head off, lot of work to do!! Thanks Richard for helping me pull this monster out!
Rattle canned the bay a little just to freshen it up.
-And...fully rebuilt motor in, I could list a whole page of new parts but mainly...new cam, rods, pistons, every bit of machine work you could imagine, but in the end it was worth it
-Weber 32/36 carb conversion
-New carpet Home Depot special, got it for like $16 bucks, plus some random floor mats i found, interior still needs some work
-Update on hood, may clear soon
Finally this is how she sits, possibly hellaflush in the future who knows, its my bandwagon....

Re: 85 Civic Wagon 5 speed!!!!
I love the original look of this car, in that beautiful blue, with stock tires, etc.
Just bought one, and I think I will restore it to get looking like it's straight off of the production line.
