Why does my alarm go off by itself?

Default Why does my alarm go off by itself?

I have a trident with keyless entry and every other night it goes off all by itself.... I have to click the button to shut it up, and I know its not theives cuz i sat there and watched it go off by itself... anyone know anything?

My alarm goes off for loud noises. It is the vibration that is sensed. I also have a motion sensor which is sometimes set off.

mine does exactley the same thing its viper with all the features except for motion sensing. i figured out that my door switch is not grounding properly so it will trigger the alarm. check for bad ground on the sensors.

yeap, i agree with fcm. how ever if you have an adjustable motion sensor... turn it completely off and then see if you notice a difference?

i did just that on my old car and it worked perfectly afterwards.

after my car got broken into it started doing that.... i just replaced it with a better one
