Default Alpine alarm?

My niece was playing with my remote and pressed the buttons. I don't know what she did but now my alarm is not functioning correctly. The alarm doorlocks lock when it is armed but does not unlock itself when I unarm it. Also, when I arm the car, about 5 seconds later it beeps like if a door was open. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I.E reset it to factory setting. I've tried to unpluging the brain but it is probably saved onto the alarm itself. Thanks

</TD></TR></TABLE> Ditto that, although there is nothing you can do with the remote that would keep the doors from unlocking, also if the siren chirps 5 or so sec. after arming it indicates the that the hood or trunk/hatch is open. 94

Model number is SEC 100S. I've checked my doors, trunk, and hood but it wasn't the case.

I would have a look at the wiring for the alarm, check the unlock output, [make sure it's still connected] Did you add door locks or did the car already have power door locks?

Check the green/white hood/trunk input, [make sure it is not shorting out to ground] also is it connected to both the hood and the trunk/hatch? 94

PS, does the alarm work, will it trigger if you open a door or hood/trunk, does it first stage give warning? 94

I've checked everything and everything is still connected and the alarm still work but not like before. The siren does not go on for like 30 seconds or so. It goes on for like 1 second, then it pause, then goes back on.

OIC Sounds like she got into programing, she has changed siren output to horn output, although I am not sure how she did that without the key and valet/program switch

You will have to go into programing to change it back.

Do you have the install manual? 94

I need the manual. I've tried the alpine website but they don't have the alarm section.

1- SEC-150R/SEC-100S installation guide

2-SEC-150R/SEC-100S Owners Manual

The 100S and 150R are identical except the 150R also has a dual stage radar. 94
