Default Rear Speaker Question

Hey I just sold took out my subs to sell to a friend and now I am without bass. The rear speakers make a hollow bass sound. I have pioneer 6 1/2, i think thats the stock size not 100% sure. Its either that or 5 1/4. Anyway, if i want to get decent sounding bass, am I gonna need 6x9's in the back?

Also, I have a JBL BP1200.1 amp for sale now. Interest pm me.

the better way to get some bass in your car is to get some 6.5" speakers that are designed to be used as subs and fab up some kick panels for them. also are you using an amp for your front speakers?

you could get adapters from a local shop that adapt 6x9 to 6 1/2 midbass speakers.

yeah i have an audiobahn amp, i cant remember which but its decent. So go w/ the 6x9 or get 6.5" speakers for bass. What would be good speakers that are going to give me a good amount of bass?

I agree with the audiobahn, rear speakers, Sony, and BOSE but whats wrong w/ MP3's?
My audiobahn amp came with the car and i feel its nor worth it to replace just because it says audiobahn. If i ever have excess money laying around, i probably will get something nice like JL or Alpine. Im a big fan of both

What I am trying to ask is, what would be some good speakers for bass in the back?

why do you want the bass to come from the back though when you can get it up front where it belongs?

well i feel replacing the back 2 way speakers is better than replacing the front 3 way components. Unless i get kick panels but ive never been a big fan of speakers by my feet.

try the kickpanels, you wont be disappointed. thats all i can really say. dont worry about the fact that they're by your feet. its a more equal pathlength and just the fact that the bass is kept with the rest on the music makes it worth it.
