4 Channel RCA
Im a little shady on how these hook up. Dumb question I know but i just want to be sure. My alpine deck has 3 sets or preamp outputs, will the 4 channel take up two sets, or will i need to run split rcas from just one set and connect the 4 channel to those? thanks guys

your 4 channel amp will take will take the front and rear RCA's if your using them to drive your speakers (front and rear)
or depending on the type of amp you can do a combo of front + sub or rear + sub if your amp is capable of boosting low frequencies along with mid/high frequencies. Either way you will not have to splice any RCA wires.

if you are running a 4 channel amp to run your interiors (fronts and rears) you simply hook up to the front and rear RCA preouts on the back of the deck to your RCAs. if you're using a 4 channel to run your fronts and you're briding channels 3 and 4 for a sub, then you would hook up the RCAs to the front outputs off the deck and to the sub output so you can have sub-control straight off the deck. just pay attention to which one's plugged into which output or else you'll have some balance/fader problems which are very easily fixed. just play with the balance and fader on the deck to make sure that when you fade it to the left front speaker...the left front speaker is the only one playing....you feel me?
