So I just recently bought a 1996 GS-R, and the owner before me installed an alarm system as well as a sound system. my power locks/windows/mirrors dont work, wires are all good, fuses are all good, not sure about the relay behind the driverside door panel. but besides that everything else even my moonroof.

 

remove the switch it and make sure is connected.

 

You said wiring is good, does that mean you checked the wiring in the drivers door jamb boot.

A common problem on older cars is the wiring in the drivers door boot, [door wire harness that runs from door to dash harness plug on "A" pillar inside a rubber boot] will be broken.

Only way to check them is to remove door panel and test wiring at the master switch plug and door lock control unit plug, and if no powers you will need to unplug the door harness from "A" pillar plug and pull it into the door, and out the speaker housing hole, un-tape the boot and slide the boot down the harness so you can access the broken leads.

If you find broken leads, make repaairs, solder and shrink tube. 94
