Stuck in the middle looking for clarification. I got good prices on both brands
Bit I'm looking for the best bump for the money. Which is better kicker cvx or alpine type r. Looking for some nice deep bass but also crisp bass with not as much rattle. If that can be helped. Which ever ones I get are gonna hooked up to 2400 watt 2 channel amp. Not sure what head unit yet but probably get a pioneer head unit. Any help is appreciated.

 

Kicker makes better speakers than Alpine.

Alpine is my favorite brand of stereos, and Kicker is my favorite brand of speakers. Best bang for your buck IMO.

 

there alot of better choices kicker isnt bad just not the best but budgets for most ppl nowadays is strict so setup a budget for yourself a realistic one everyones ears are different what kind of system are you looking for? did you at least do "the big 3"

 

Well iv had cvrs and L7s likes them both just wanted to step out of the brand and try something new

New alpine type r sounds better than any kicker sub currently out.

This is all enclosure dependent, though.

 

I have never been a kicker fan. I haven't used a current woofer but the past ones have always sounded bad.

I am not an alpine speaker fan either but I have been using a few type r's and they worked pretty good for the price
