Default capacitor install help!

I bought a 1.0 farad cap for my eclipse sound system and need to install it but never have. I read some installation instructions on how to install but never really understood, so if anyone can give me detailed instructions on how to install it I would appreciate it. P.S. Have a red optima red top relocated in the trunk so everything is back there.

Positive from battery into the "+" terminal on the cap. Power wire for amp goes to the "+" terminal on the cap. Ground the "-" terminal on the cap to a good chassis ground.

If you don't have one of those fancy digital caps, then you're done. If so, there should be a remote terminal on the cap, which gets tied into the remote wire going to the amp.
