Default Installing my cap...

Just wondering.. When am I supposed to charge this thing? When I have it installed? Before I install it? Also, the + terminal is the wire coming from the battery correct? Thanks!!

Charge your cap before the install, or if it hasn't been used in a long time (causing slow draining), then hook it into your system (no more than 18" from the amp so that you don't get voltage losses) and reconnect your battery terminals / fuses and such.

You forgot to mention you are supposed to charge it with a charging resistor.
