Type S 12" subs are 300W continuous, [RMS] subs, and although a 200W RMS amp will work, it is "under-powering" the sub.

What Type S sub is it, a DVC 4 OHM or the DVC 2 OHM?

What is the make and model of the amp? 94

I can not find a SVC Type S sub at Alpine support, even in archived subs. 94

If it is a SVC 4 ohm 150W sub, then yes the amp, [Alpine MRP-M200] is just fine, [150W rms into 4 ohms] 94
