Honda (for OBD0) calls the connector the "ignition adjustment" connector.

Correct.

If you move it at any time, it will add or subtract timing (depending on what way you move it). You cant check it with a light to see what timing you are running.

No, if you move the distributor, it will add mechinical timing. So, if you add 2*, it will add 2* for the whole ECU Map.

If you try to move it and check it without jumping the connector, the ECU will try to put it back to the timing it wants. When you jump the connector, it locks the timing so the ecu does not change it. Stock maps move the timing around at idle.

couldnt you just get an adjustable cam gear? Or just take the timing belt off and adjust the timing on the by turning the cam gear and putting the head back on? I may be wrong so tell me if I am.

I could, but to tell you the truth, I'm not all that worried.

I am going to tone it down to a 50 shot, this setup will be more than adequate for that. If I run 13's, awesome, if not, no biggie. I'll run this setup til I have the next one built. It should be fun.

So, it'll be fun spraying for a while, but I'm really not too into it anymore now that I'm gonna start building a motor for boost. 300 whp should be ALOT more fun, lol.

Lol, I think to get 300 hp outta that I'll have to run more boost than I want to.

I am probably going to get a "mini-pro" mani from Autoworks.

I need at least 550's. 450 will be maxed out. 550's are even really not good past 350ish.

Shooting for a solid 300 to the wheels on a fairly conservative tune.
