Maybe. I'm hoping that they won't give me **** about the ride height. Do you have any stock springs/shocks we could throw on before wednesday?

Depends on how much it is.

I have an appointment tomorrow at 8 to get the car checked out. The damage isn't terrible so I think they'l jip me on the price. I'm definately gonna work my magic and let them know that it isn't just the tailights that are bent in, and not just the filler peice that's bent in, but the BODY that's holding them on that's bent in. Plus, the hatch has major ripples. I am telling them that I will not accept bondo, shitty paint, and crappy repair of the bent in tails.

They better give me enough money for a professional repair job.

Then, I'll say **** that, get a new filler peice for $10 at the junkyard, get PDR done on the hatch for like $100, and slap on the new tails I have sitting in my room. The brackets might have to be bent out a little, but so long as they're flush, no biggie.

Any thoughts on a full paint? Remind me one day around noon to call my buddy back. I'll need to bug him to get a hold of his uncle. We'd probably have to bring your car to Mechanicsville for an estimate. Then you could see goldie in person.

Hell yeah. If I get enough dough, maybe I will treat the hatch to a make-over. I was just gonna bank it all and save up for this motor build, but if you can get me the hook-up, I may have to.

Lol, I think you'll like the actual cam. pix even better. It's only 3 megapixels, so they'll still suck, don't worry.

Just got back from the insurance place.

Total amount my check will be: $1010.

Debating what I'm gonna do with it now. Paint would be really nice, but then there's that 300 hp A6 that's sitting in my garage waiting to be built...

That's what I'm starting to think. People won't be able to see the old paint if I'm going fast enough.

Just gotta change the jets, lol. It's been cold and I don't feel like getting under the hood. The track isn't open so my motivation is kinda dead. It will get done eventually.

Maybe when the turbo is done, I'll turn the nitrous kit into and intercooler sprayer...

I'll be spraying the car all summer though till the motor and turbo are done.

I'm going to the junkyard on Saturday to get a new filler peice, and to get any other **** I want.

It looks like I might be building the motor in the beginning of the summer and peicing the turbo together the rest of summer, then slapping it all in come august/september. That's the plan anyway.

I don't know Tim, I would use the money to get the car mint. The motor you're building shouldn't be rushed. Have fun with your current setup (get it running) would be the route I would take. That way you'll have a fresh hatch to drop that monster in when it's done. Just my .02

If I don't use this money I don't know if I'll have the whole setup done by next year. I wanna get it done before college starts next year.

The hatch is fine, no rust, just has shitty paint. It'll be a sleeper, lol.

I don't think I'm gonna need sleeves for only 300 hp.
