Well, UPDATE!

Good news and bad news:

Good News: got the tranny in and it works PERFECT!
Bad News: it works perfect for an HF tranny, because that's what it is.

It's not an Si tranny at all. My 4-speed tranny was WAY faster than this peice of ****, and that's bad. My boy is gonna swap trannies with me (he has an Si tranny in his sedan that keeps crapping out so he said we can swap.) so i will have one whenever we can get a round to doing it. Til then, I got a shitty tranny that is slow as *****! I can't even reach the end of 2nd gear on the street, it's ridiculous.

Ya, especially after breaking 3 sockets wrenches, two extensions, putting a divet in my gf's dad's tarmak driveway, breaking my starter, then having to go out and buy a new one, and after all that it's not even the right tranny?! *deep breath*

yeah it sucks.

tippyman that intake looks just like mine.
i didnt buy mine off of ebay though, i think i got it off of Summit...it was only like 30 bucks
but i know what you mean about the sound. i could hear mine sucking in air 24-7...then when i gave it throttle you could hear a deep roar...it was awesome.
mine was on my little 1.5 HF and it made it sound like a b16 or something..hehe. i had ppl turning me down when id ask them to race....it was funny.
intakes are worth the money.

BTW: I'm just thinking of ripping my ******* AC out. To hell with it. It's heavy, takes up alot of room in my engine bay, and I can't figure out wut's wrong with it.I'll get some of those slim CRX window visors so I don't fog up in da rain, and be done with it.

BTW: Small Update:

I polished the valve cover off of the old D15B1 and slapped it on. It's not a mirror finish, more of a brushed aluminum finish. I liked it better that way. Sorry for the shitty pix.

And a random pic of my bro having fun with the "Fart Cans" at Advance Auto Parts:

Let me suggest some Krylon wrinkle finish paint for the valve cover. All you do is spray it on in thick layer, take a heat gun to it, and your back to a stock look in no time.

I'm not into the polished look on imports, but that's just me.

Lookin good though man, nice well layed out build ya got there.

Swap in the Si tranny, do the rest of the guages (already got my A/F and tach in), get it painted, get some new seats, get some light *** rims, and put on a wet shot of giggle gas.

***(RANDOM) UPDATE 8/2/06***

I removed the Charcoal Canister just for the hell of it, and to clear up some space.
