My rex in progress............ pics
Ok not a lot done but here some more pics anyway:

The hood was pretty bad, but this is saving me some money$$$

And my wife thought is was funny to make my 6 mo old a home girl lol

I am somewhat undecided on what I wanna do here. I am thinking of doing the hood black and the roof, then the rest of the car blue.

Looks good thus far! You'll need a different cross member to work with your Fluidyne rad. I bought one for my rex and it was supposed to be a "direct replacement" but was anything but that.
She is getting new teeth, that's all she does. I could wipe, but then it comes back. She is like a baseball player with dip in her mouth.lol
Thanks for the comments.
I plan on getting a diff cross member, just waiting on the funds

It's funny you say that. Sounds like me before, not I say I wish I had a bigger one!!!

Yeah for the front I had to have the hub pressed out and the new studs pressed back in. If you are going to do this, get new wheel bearings. I did it the hard way and need a new one now.

Here's some pics of the hood..............
Not wet sanded yet so it's still a little ruff. This is what happens when you paint out side.

Me too man, me too. I was looking at it yesterday and was getting a little disgusted at the progress, but this happens to every one that is doing a project and don't have the money to finish it fast.
Ok, hood it done. It did not turn out as good as I would have liked, but this car is not going to be a hardparker so I guess it will do. Here are a few pics...........
This is during the wet sand.

This is after the first 2 stages up cutting.

Then it got dark and I had to brighten up this pic so sorry for the look of it.

I forgot how bad black shows up every little thing.
Well that's it for now. Found that I am going to need a new driver side door. The weld I did to cover the hole turned out to be bad all the way through. So now there is even a bigger hole. I might be able to fix it but it's going to take a lot of work.

Got some more stuff done yesterday. I filled the back wiper hole and started filling all the little holes I don't need under the hood. I am thinking of getting the carbon fiber sunroof, good wight saver, and mine seems to have some rust holes in it. Here's some pics, not done yet.

Got some new toys for Xmas too, my fav is my new jack. No more using a stock jack on the side to get the lowered car up so I can fit the 3 ton under, lol.

I also got my 10 ton press. I will not pay for pressing out bearings or bushings again!!!

More to come...................
