The front is now somewhat done. I filled a few more holes in the bay, didn't wanna wake up the wife and kids, so if it needed me to cut metal to fill the hole it's not done yet.

Now if you remember:

I welded all that closed then used very little Bondo

other side is also done

Here are the other holes I filled, you see the big one? that will be filled as well.

I also seen some stuff on there that caught my eye and when a head and did it my self. O, and also my wife's car.

Any one know of a place I can get some stanless steel bolts from? I am thinking I'll do all the bolts that are shown in stanless.

It was a pretty good weekend. I am almost all the way done with the bay. Ready for paint by this weekend I think.

I am still going to keep looking for my B16A tranny with LSD, but in my lap feel a free LS tranny. So for now that is what I will use. I did not want to settle for any B16 trann, I want LSD. So I'll keep looking till I find the right one.

I should have more pics up as the work goes on...........

Well guys, I just ordered everything I am going to need to finish up my motor. It should be in by next week and off I'll go to finish it up. I am going to get all the motor work done and in the car before I finish up any more body work.

O yeah I also went with the LS trans.......I know, I know, but wait......... it was free, and I really want a B16A tran with LSD. So I am going to keep looking till I find one that is in really good shape. You can't beat free!!!

I'll update more soon.................

I used the LS trans in my crx because it was free also. it lasted about 2 months of slicks before it broke the diff inside IT still drives but the axles wobble up and down in the trans and make the wheel shake at about 60mph. Im waiting now for my brand new usdm integra type r trans to get here. Ill be welding up all the random empty holes in the engine bay also. yours looks good.

Hey man, that's an awesome build. I'm going to be painting my car as soon as I get some new fenders. I have a Sharpe paint gun and a 60 gallon 6.5 HP compressor. I know how to wet sand and buff so that won't be a problem. I am planning on painting it silver with gunmetal wheels. I am planning a D15B2 bottom end with D16A6 head and intake manifold. I converted it to MPFI and installed the D16A6 head. The head JUST got back from the rebuilders. It's been ported some around the intake and exhaust ports and in the valve seats. It's been hot tanked and all of the valves were cleaned and polished. I also had it ground .008" to up the compression some. I am looking for an all motor setup for now but plan on turbo later on. I had a 92 DA Integra with the B18A1 and a T3/T4 setup that layed down 256 HP so I know about turbo. I built the kit myself for $1200. Anyway, I have a 89 CRX DX with a Si tranny, F1 Stage 3 six puck clutch, Fidanza 7.5 lb flywheel, DC Sports stainless header, 2.5" exhaust with no cat and no resonator (sounds like ****), and a full cold-air intake. The car pulls like a son of bitch but with the light flywheel the RPMs drop too quickly to get an accurate shift. I need to put in a short throw shifter and adjust my clutch just right. Anyway, here's some pics of the head. Tell me what you think. SOHC of course.

It's a work in progress of course. It's going to Beaver Run when it's all said and done. I hope it turns out nice for me. It's my first Honda engine buildup.
