I miss my crx. Looks like fun. Don't worry about the rice... I had a crx for a while that had some fried rice on it and I loved it! lol

WTF, what's so unique about your build? dr_latino999 is doing essentially the same thing as you. Back off the guy! It sounds like he's off to a good start, he has a lot of work on his hands with the condition of that car. Ebay may be a crap hole but sometimes it's a good way to go when you are strapped and in need. I got my dizzy on ebay as well as all my new front end parts. Some times it's just a necessity. Hell even CRX bart got his front end parts off ebay.

we buy alot of our **** off eBay, there's nothing wrong with eBay, it's all about what product your buying, and who made it.

I buy nearly everything off of ebay, its the only place i can find parts at reasonable prices just dont buy anything from them that your car and life depend on unless its a name brand from a name brand seller

Keep it up man, somewhere under there is a tahitian green pearl CRX that looks to have minimal rust, definately worth saving from rice... getting to be a rare car. when you dicide to "unshave" your side moldings the best body filler (bondo) remover is an electric grinder with a twisted wire wheel. with one of those it would only take about an hour and a half to do both sides, but your gonna need a frickin asbestos removal suit to keep it off you. nice thing about the wire wheel is that it will shred that bondo but removes very little metal so you won't be grinding holes in your car. If it was up to me though, I'd look real hard for a new set of doors, epecially if you want your doorhandles back.

after you clear, wait about a week and buff it with medium rubbing compound, that will give it a shine or mirror like surface. it wont be clear without it.

thank

but thats is a long ways from where i am right now

i have to stip the outside down to bare metal there is probably inch thick of bondo i have to remove

i dont think the body shop that did this shoudl call them self a (body)shop more of a sculptor for all the bondo work they do

White is a hard color to keep clean...I guess black is too. I really like how the dark gray looks. That is just my 2 cents though. Its you that has to live with the color.
