after you grind down welds you need a bit of bondo,

theres only a thin layer of bondo on it to make it smoothe

yeha i know, the guns are sweet i jsut havent used them yet

im still pissed about the hood situation though what kind of crap is that

Yea you have to use bondo to smooth everything out. Make sure though that you sand the area down really well before applying the bondo to make sure it all sticks well.

Man that sucks about the hood. I have one I would sell you for cheap. It does have 1 small dent but nothing bad at all.

yea that's bs. they should have called you before removing it from the order.
shipping could have been more than the hood itself but still they should have called you.
i've had issues with them too.

keep up the good work

bum deal dude.

what hood are you trying to get?
if you are looking for a stock hood there quite a few in the JY, you should be able to pick one up for pretty cheap and you can have the pick of the litter to minimize extra bodywork

yeah dude i have the wires going to the relay all there and wire coming offf the switch on the block and one of the wires the yellow /green tracer is going from the switch to i think somewhere on the head right by the upper coolant hose not sure if its the same wire but i think it is

and i know the blue wire goes from the relay to the fan, i couldnt find the blue wire to where it goes so i cut it and ran it to the fan

i think all the other wires are connected i hope haha

i read somewhere that coming off the relay
black---- is ground

black / yellow --- is power , runs from relay to fan (also splits in the harness and goes to fuse 15 under dash fuse box)

BLue--- runs from relay to fan

yellow/ green ---- runs to temp controlled fan switch, also splits off and runs to the fan control ECU

fan switch on back off block has

black --ground

yellow/ green-- which goes ?

edit: and i also believe pin C06 on the ecu is coolant temp sensor (Red/ White)

anyone know where im going with this if i went in the right place?

Yea I dont know where that wire goes. I followed it and it just went into the main harness into the cabin. I just made sure it was hooked up on the block. To be honest with you I didnt even know it went for the fan.

Be carefull when pulling it off. I broke mine, and had to get the extra one off my Hf. When I went back to solder it on I accidentally hooked it up to what I think is the o2 sensor wire..haha. Luckily I caught it by matching it up to the other yellow/green wire.

Hey while your there your o2 sensor is hooked up to a white wire with a black housing around the wire. I mean it kinda looks like a coax but with wire.
