car is bad ***. why does the intake pipe go from big to small? maybe i am missing something, but i would think that that would cause a restriction

Very Nice. I am definitely keeping up with this one. I like how clean your work area is most of the time I see someone building something its never that clean. Very nice car too makes me want to paint mine that color.

Cheers

that's what i get for a cheap ebay stuff. i bought that thing as advertised being a 3" intake pipe but it's just 2.75" any idea where i can get a true 3" pipe made for EF's with B swaps? i prefer a SRI so i can use the v-stack i bought recently.

am thinking to move the battery at the back or probably use a slim type battery during track events. i prefer using a single bend intake pipe rather than 3 bends considering the route it takes due to the OE battery location.

passwordjdm has the relocation kit that moves it to the framerail and uses a odysey (sp?) battery. then you can run a standard single bend intake. you might be able to cut yours and put the velocity stack on the end of it.

another weekend progress...

those piston pin spiro locks were a pain to install but it made me think after looking at this expensive special lock-in tool.

http://www.lockintool.com/how-to-use/

it's fun installing them btw, after i got the hung of it the third time, installing them was a breeze, took me 2-3 minutes per lock using just a shorty flat screw driver. no mess, i was totally astonished it's that easy, no need for that expensive tool

finally installed the pistons into the block.

last one to go,

sitting pretty in their new home:

checking piston-to-deck height.

just did some test fit on the header to see the ground clearance with the oil pan as reference.

can't wait to degree these cams in.

Mike Belben's test valve springs fits snugly with Bisi's ti retainers.
