thank you fellows! you keep me going
back to my small lab last night, i did some initial test tunes.
first, i took an hour to clean my IACV(i'm on an open intake tube)
, second, i calibrated the TPS and MAP sensor BARO values in Innovate's Logworks to be able to record/log precisely and match the readings of my Logworks along with CROME's realtime datalogging values.
I then took a base run making 7 passes on an open street just outside my home. In every pass, i rev till 5k only trying to get a base run graph using my current maps in CROME so as to use it as a reference point and compare results after i change the fuel maps using CROME.
now here's the result:

what you can depict from the graph is:
see the 3rd gear(right side white rectangular box @ 20.64sec) comparisons in slanted texts.
LESS Throttle=58.6% (base=68.8%)
BETTER gas mileage =13.07 AFR (base=12.44)
MORE performance = 4760 RPM's (base=4680)
BETTER acceleration = -0.186g (base=-0.182)
LESS engine load = 943 millibar (base=947)
that was my one and only very first attempt in modifying the fuel values using CROME and Innovate's logged data and new fuel calculations based on Logwork's built-in math library.
there's so much more left since i was only tuning the lower RPMs untill 5k just for tests. i haven't touched the higher RPMs(VTEC) yet. I hope to see more good results in the near future.
...taking my tuning skills a step higher.
good day everyone!

time to work once again. I just received my new precision tools yesterday night shipped from the US. A universal valve spring compressor, digital bore gauge(0.00005" graduation) and a vernier micrometer(0.0001" graduation). I always wanted the Mitutoyo tools but i cannot afford them for now.
I believe this Fowler tools will do it's job considering its graduations. I love investing on tools as the work progress.
I hope to assemble the buttom with in a week or two after dropping the block for a rebore and hone to cater my new OS slugs. i prefer using my own tools to double check clearances rather than sorry.

more to come...

placing the good tools into use.
I'm getting some baseline measurements of all my rods'clearances before dropping them off at a local machine shop for the bolts replacement and pistons install.

You are in the top five of my "People i am jealous of" list. With your budget, time, location, you are doing a better job than most builds i see here. Keep up the great work
