My Build-up
did few bit of wrenching with the button end last night with my mighty and fabulous engine stand

all OE main and con rod bearings are absolutely in mint condition.
got to do the mic'ing of the bores later just to double check the cyl. walls' roundness... but as per the looks of it, the cross hatches are still very visible. 
thorough cleaning and degreasing is next and i hope to place an order for the new piston rings and journal bearings very soon

there are 2 versions i think. one is plain fiber in black color and the other one's carbon fiber. mine's the CF ones

bump for some once a week thursday work.
time to get some readings using my mitutoyo bore gage(0.001mm dial guage). not quite good results.
the block needs some oversize pistons
bores 2 & 4 top bore measurements are 0.018mm more than the service limit of 81.07mm as per the Helms Manual and bore #3 top diameter read at 81.104mm
time to get some new slugs... ugh!

'00 JDM CTR S4C LSD tranny as parts donor for my 93 YS1 LS cable tranny.


YS1 tranny being cleaned since almost a year now, soon to meet the new donor above

with the MFactory close ratio gears and OEM ITR 4.7FD, i can't wait to bring this franky tranny to life

installed my new DSS L2.9 axles. with almost a month DD use, so far no signs of oil leaks whatsoever
