It will probably come out when I get to the paint booth. This was pretty much just a quick spray to cover up the bare spots... and was a little rushed thanks to the not so understanding neighbors!

screw the neighbors its not like your be painting every day!

the black coupe looks good from the pics, but would need alot of work to look like his red car will from in person.

in person the red car stock looked cleaner than his black one did

They dont mind the compressor itself, but the day I bought it, I was asked the question 'you guys are not going to be painting over there are ya' to which I quickly replied 'no way'. fast forward 2 weeks, we are primering the car in the garage and they roll home at 10pmish and flip out about the paint fumes!

Unfortunately, the neighbors are not Bub Rub and Lil Sis... ha ha ha!

I have owned the black civic for a while. The dude I got it from wasnt exactly straight forward about some stuff with it... I wanted black interior too! But like EtherEG said, to make the black car as clean as the red car is, it would have taken quite a bit of body work and more of a hassle than anything. And I wanted a car to 'build' and enjoy, and to make that possible, I needed to have a DD. The red car will NEVER see snow, and probably wont see any rain either.
The black car is far from horrible, but to make it as clean as the red car is... it would take a nice amount of work.

Yeah, I got a good deal for what it was when I got it... but after I started putting money into the black one, I quickly lost interest and realized I wanted something a little different to start with... Trust me, I have seen cars in way worse condition than the black one is in, but the red one was so much nicer to start with.

As far as the build, like most of them... it ends up being a little longer/more money than planned. But its alright. It will be worth it when its done, and I am taking my time and making sure everything is done right the first time

You car looks pretty clean though, but its a rarity to find anything NEARLY that clean up here in the midwest unless it was garaged and not driven in winters.

I got some more work done on the car tonight...

Energy suspension sway bar bushings and endlinks for the front sway bar...

Homemade shifter extender thanks to Nick

Another shot of the car primered with some of the masking removed from it

Bought an OEM honda CD player which lights up amber off EBAY for $20 shipped

Also installed my header tonight to get it out of the way in the garage.

Got a few new things today too, as well as USPS loosing some of my stuff. I should have more pictures up in the next few day.

Let me know what you guys think of the progress and if you have any suggestions to help out along the way

Daylight savings time sucks!

In the past few days, I ordered some new tires for my Volk's
Got a jdm shift boot w/ red stitching
Received locking lug nuts, which were damaged/some missing in shipping
Also bought an air intake to get rid of my stock air box
Got my full exhaust bolted up

working on the car quite a bit this weekend. Should have some more picture updates then!

Rear trailing arms w/ brake setup being bolted up.

Apexi WS2 (sorry about the dust)

Quick release on and ready

With the momo Monte Carlo 320mm

Bolt in Crow harness's w/ harness bar wrap around

Keeping my key safe...

My new intake

Something I have had sitting around collecting dust...

Thanks for stopping by

Thanks for the compliments. Keep the feedback coming. This project is taking longer than I wanted it to, but things will be done right, the first time!

by the way, what motor set up are you running in your car? And what kind of numbers are you putting down? I am still debating what i want to do for the motor, but more than likely it will wait until spring before anything goes in it.

I am thinking about getting those new Blox competition series coilovers. Any feedback on those? Good rates (12k front and 10k rear). Just havent heard anything good OR bad about them yet.

Got some more goodies out that have been sitting buried in the closet for a few months....

OEM honda civic nose mask. Brand new, in the box. Picked it up for a hell of a deal!

and also have some JDM stanley corner lights to match the JDM stanley headlights above...

Should have more updates coming soon.
