Thanks man! I love them. Comfortable as hell, hold you in, and something different than the black or red recaro's that you see all the time!

Exactly, just like those confetti Recaro's that i've seen on here. The coupe's looking really nice, jealous that you got a new hood bra... you should sell me it!

Me and EtherEG worked on the car for a while yesterday... Got a decent amount done. I will let the pictures do the talking...

Front coilovers and brakes on

ASR with a 24mm sway and the coilovers.

Rear strut bar

ASR with 24mm sway, Brake set up with Earls SS lines, and the coilovers installed

Test fitting

I am getting a few nuts and bolts today and then hopefully going to get the ebrake cables done today. I am still needing a 40/40 prop valve. I guess the one that I got with the swap wasnt the one I needed...

More updates coming soon!

Suspension work looks great but you should have installed it after the car got painted, that way you wont get any overspray on them.

This may have been answered already but I did not read the entire thread, i just looked at all the pics but did that cup holder setup come out of a ford taurus by any chance? Do you remember what year?

Thanks for all of the comments! The only reason the suspension set-up is on before paint is because I need to have the car rolling to get it to the paint booth. It will all be covered up to make sure nothing get on it! I talked to my friend who is painting it, and it should all be set up to be done next weekend. I got some more goodies waiting to go on this weekend.

vtecsyndrome, the Taurus cup holder/coin pocket came out of the older body style. Early 90's (around the time they had the 5.0 mustangs). The junk yard I go to has a ton of that body style, and most of them have the cup holders in them still. The hard part is finding a nice one that still works properly.

Gr1m Reaper, Thanks again! Did you get your EJ1 back???

Damn dude. I just saw it in the EJ1 thread, and sorry about your loss. Hopefully it comes out good for you though and you some how get money or a new car out of it.

As for mine, more updates should be coming up on this holiday weekend.

Its some sort of tweed.

doing it big, doing it big.

i like what i see. your setup right now is almost identical to the setup on my last coupe, except my trunk setup was the EM racings Z setup. I had the F2s (older ones, still awesome) and the asr kit (with the 23mm type r, spherical endlinks). loved the way it handled... you'll definitely be impressed man.

oh, for your prop valve, you can also use the 30/40 off the SI. I'm gonna use the one off my friends hatch because he feels like he needs a 40/40, but the non-abs SIs with rear disks use the 30/40 valve. I think it's gonna be more than sufficient.

Hell yeah man. I figured I was putting a good amount of money into this one, why not do it how I want it, and right the first time!

I was told a stock prop valve 'would work', but last night I ended up picking up a 40/40 prop valve for $25. Would rather do it right the first time... Thanks for the input though!

I am thinking about getting an alarm for it too. Does anybody have experience with custom installs, as far as difficulty/effectiveness? I dont want to have a generic best buy/audio place install.

i had my alarm installed by a professional. he can do basic installs, but i'm buddies with him so he hooked it up. essentially my dash was pulled an all the wires are in factory looms so nothing can be found or cut, and the brain is located in a non-accessible place. 2 piezos inside the car, two outside, tilt sensor, air pressure sensors (to replace shatter sensors), and most importantly, a backup battery. oh yeah, mobile gps is also a plus

there's a guy on here who charges i think 500 or so for the install, I think I paid my guy like 350 or 450 for everything, installed over about 8 hours

I am guessing you noticed a difference between the stock prop valve and the 40/40? I cant wait to get this car out on the road and rip on it!

i never swaped out my prop valve. just swap the master and booster. i did notice a difference when stopping. not just when u need it the most. i takes very little effort to stop it with the integra master
