How much toulene is too much? So lets say i got 9 gallon of 93 octane gas. and i add 1 gallon toulene ,then i got 95.5 occtane right there. add another gallon and i get 97.5 occtane. Add another gallon and i got almost 100 occtane gas. Is it safe to use 12 gallons of gas with 3 of those gallons being toulene?

Sherwin Williams carry toulene in 5 gal containers... watch out for prices tho.... i bought 5 gal in central cal for ~20 bucks and bought the same container in nor cal for over 40 bucks

i think you can use up to 33 percent toulene.... somthing like that... anymore and it burns too slow or something...

No octane booster is the best octane booster. Tune your car to run on pump gas, or run race gas.

Also, if you live in Sacramento, CA, you can get 100 octane at the 76 station on Watt and Marconi. But it costs ~$6 per gallon.

take the octane of regular gas and multiply it by the number of gallons you have of that octane. Then take the occtane of toulene(118) and multiply it by the number of gallons of toulene you plan to add. add what you got from multiplying those 2 things together and divide by the totol number of gallons.

Example. 7 gallons of 93 octane= 651
+
3 gallons of toulene(118)=354
_______
1005

1005 divied by 10= 100.5 octane gas

Not sure but someone mentioned that you can't go over a 30% toulene mixture

to find out the mixture %, take the number of gallons of toulene and divide it by the total number of gallons.

Example: 3 divided by 10 = .30 or 30% mixture.
