I use it and i dont know the exact octane number it actually increases by but 7 is totaly belieable, i think its one of the better octane boosters on the market, it was recomended to me and i have used it since then.

I used it once and it made my sparkplugs all orange! Never used it again! **** is whack!

How the hell can an octane booster cause your plugs to turn orange? Which booster did you use?
Because it has never done me or any of my freind wrong in our cars. Holly makes pretty good product over all and the octane booster is another one of them. The only down side is its alil expensive now
Actually i have been using it since late 99, before the movie, and it was much cheaper then.

 

When I first joined the board (About 8 months ago), there was a HUGE debate about this; and how the octane boosters would only actually boost it by like .2-.5. Does anyone else remember this? And someone has this really good webpage describing how to make your own...

They tested a few octane boosters. Gave at most a couple of points. They did start with 96 octane.

 

nos booster leaves a green film on your injectors which in time cloges the injectors. just buy vp race fuel. anywhere from 104-117 octane. the best ****!

So it's never hurt your engine, but I know it's not adding 7 points of octane.

 

when they claim it adds 7 points to octane rating it means .7
So if you bought 93 then you would be at 93.7 not 100
So yes they are bogus bullshit.
