It doesn't have plug cause it uses a cable for the vss, first off what kind of car do you have? Does your gauge cluster support a cable or electronic vss?

as stated above obd-0 uses a CABLE
as aposed to a obd-1 witch shares information via an electrical connector.

You need use cable then your gauge cluster in da is operated by the cable itself so as long as it's a cable vss you be fine

I have a cable transmission b16 with hydraulic conversion in a eg and I’m running into the same problem with mechanical speed sensor. I was wondering if I can swap it with an electrical speed sensor if I can from which transmission?

Yes, they are interchangeable. I'm running a speedo cable in a crv trans in my crx. My ecu reads my speed just fine. I'm running a electronic vss in my other crx in a cable trans because I used an ek engine harness for it since it's a drag car and doesn't have a chassis harness. The ecu reads speed on both cars.
